like so many of our other favorite pieces, this sweater started off with a gift from a friend.

after wearing a treasured wool sweater for years on end, they passed it down to us. we fell in love with the oversized fit and hand-linked details… and the wheels immediately started turning.

so, we got to work recreating it with an extra-fine 100% merino wool – this time with a more modern, flattering fit.
